Lucky me...

I had a strange experience today. No one is around to accompany me for a lunch, so I decided to walk alone to the mamak restaurant not too far from my office. A pleasant curry dish with full of spices! Alhamdulillah…on my way back to office, as i was walking alone along the street , suddenly one Proton Waja stopped besides me, one guy came out and wish me salam. From the look and his accent , I could guess that he must be an Arab. He took out from his wallet RM100 note and asked me wether I have the change notes. At first, he said he wanted RM50 notes. I took out two RM50 notes and give it to him for the exchange. But to my surprise, he insisted to look up to my wallet and grabbed all monies in my wallet….” Let me see” he said. ”wait!! no..!!” I said…” Don’t worry…we’re muslim..you’re too worried..” He offered me his wallet. A fat wallet full with RM100!!. What’s wrong with this idiot!!” I thought. ( or am I the idiot?) I stepped back from him and took out all the monies from the wallet into my pocket“ . I started getting nervous. “I want the notes that have this signature” said the arab( he showed his RM100 notes with governor’s signature but not Zeti Akhtar’s). “I want the green notes..10 green notes!! With this kind of signature…”. Now I realised he wanted the RM5 notes. “No , I don’t have..sorry I’m rushing for a meeting” I said. I turned around and left him standing there in front of his car, staring at me and probably thinking why his 'black magic' is not working today! The incident happened just at the entrance of my office next to the guard house. As I passed through the guard, he asked me what happened. I told him the story, the guard said, “Be careful ! they’re liars, one of the staff already “kena” with the trick, and guess what happened to the poor staff?..he lost all his money. I checked my pocket and counted slowly. “RM250..cukup.fuhh!! lega…”. I'm lucky today.

So next time if a stranger suddenly approach you and ask to exchange the money..don’t bother, just leave!

  Apabila kita berbicara mengenai pewarisan harta dalam Islam, lazimnya ia merujuk kepada pembahagian harta pusaka simati kepada waris-waris yang berhak mengikut hukum faraid. Hukum faraid adalah hukum yang telah termaktub dalam Al-Quran sebagai panduan umat Islam dalam menguruskan pembahagian harta pusaka. Pensabitan dan keterpakaian hukum faraid jelas sebagaimana firman Allah SWT dalam  Surah Al-Nisa :7  yang menceritakan secara umum tentang bahagian waris lelaki dan waris perempuan. Perincian tentang bahagian setiap waris dinyatakan dalam  Surah Al-Nisa’ : 11 dan 12  dan ayat terakhir Surah berkenaan iaitu ayat ke  179.  Dalam ketiga-tiga ayat ini Allah telah menjelaskan bahagian-bahagian waris ahli fardu dan ahli ‘asabah serta keadaan pewarisan mereka.
